Faces of RNDSQR: Part III
Welcome to Part III of Faces of RNDSQR.
Majida Devani
Meet Majida, our Design Lead. She handles all our interior design projects with a cool ease! Not to mention, she’s a fun mom of two.
I love Calgary because…
MD: Because it’s my home. Being from Calgary I have seen it’s growth. It’s a part of me. When I was in preschool I used to tell everyone the Calgary tower was my home!
What do you look forward to most when you come to work everyday?
MD: I look forward to seeing everyone in the office. It is always busy and there is never a dull moment! Being surrounded by great people is a blessing. I am very fortunate to be at a job that I love and I am able to help create a bit of Calgary everyday.
"I am able to help create a bit of Calgary everyday"
What’s missing from Calgary?
MD: More places for interaction. I feel we need to make use of our winter days. I find that when it is cold out everyone stays indoors or goes to the mall. Being a mother I wish there was more stuff for kids to do during those cold winter months.
Your favourite RNDSQR project?
MD: That is a hard one to answer. I would have to say SC31. It’s our first RNDSQR project ever!!! It was a learning curve for me from RC2 projects to RCG zoning. With RNDSQR growing I am not able to be apart of every aspect of the building anymore and with this one I was there from the beginning to end. It’s fun to design a building and see it completed from pencil to form.
Circle or Square?
MD: Depends on the day. Today I feel like a circle.
